The illustrations are nice but I felt that the story was lacking. It was too long and didn't have much of a point. As other reviewers have mentioned, it seems that it is more for parents than children.

I loved this book. Not sure my girls really got it, but I did.

An imaginative picture book that perfectly captures how an idea can take hold of you and how you carry it around until you finally act on it. Spoke to me as an adult. I think it would be great for older kids as well. Love the illustrations too!

“ But then I realized what do they really know ? This is my idea, I thought. No one knows it like I do. “

I thought this was beautiful- gorgeous illustrations, and a good concept, if high. This may qualify as one of those picture books that will speak most to adults- especially the creative types who have big dreams that they're basically taught to give up on.
