This is the second book I've read by this author and while I did like this one a little more than the lighthouse witches, I've come to realize her books have these super intriguing synopses and very lackluster execution. I wanted this to be a lot different. More than anything I hated the social media aspect of it

4.5. Really interesting story, I like horror books that use folklore for the supernatural element rather than just random ghosts. My only criticism was that the writing felt quite stunted for the first 100 pages before finding a flow.
