This one may have been a little too much ~ stalker ~ for me.
It just kept getting darker. The story line was hectic and there is lots of overexplaining while also not explaining anything? Lots of loose threads that seem to go somewhere but just never get explained or circled back to later on. When you finally think it may be getting better, it comes up short for sure.
The ending was not great at all. It seems like it may be a cliffhanger, but it is not.
Definitely super overhyped.

What a great book for Alina's debut novel! If you want a dark romance thriller book, this one is for you. Please look over the triggers before starting to read as this is definitely not for everyone.
Jayden and Cole are both the definition of psychotic DARK MMCs to the core. From the kidnapping to the chasing game between them and Mary Jo, everything was super spicy and dark. Mary Jo was a great FMC, while being naive in what was happening, she was super strong and angry to her core and pushed to what she believed till the end.
I definitely recommend this read if you want a very dark thriller romance. Thank you Alina for sending me an ARC copy, I cannot wait to see what else you release!

Too good
I was so excited to read this book and I was NOT disappointed!!! I honestly went into this book pretty blind it just looked good so I had to read it and when I tell you this book was 5 stars it was 5 stars and more! I could not get enough! Definitely check trigger warnings but. GOOD GOD these two!!!! Jayden got me in the beginning but Cole? Cole was EVERYTHING!!!! This man had me squealing in excitement! Bring him to life right now please!!! I LOVE that he calls her little one I think it's so cute its one of my favorite nicknames in books my only picky thing is a personal preference and I just wish he had the dark hair. But that just me and I think that the 2 of them together is perfect! And JO my heart hurt for her a little toward the end but I'm glad the ending was what it was! Fan freaking tastic and so so good!

Better Run by Alina May is a dark romance thriller.
This is Alina's debut novel and she knocked it out of the park. I was hooked from the very begging and couldn't wait to see how it was all going to play out.
