I loved this book so much! Definitely recommending to my friends and anyone else who will listen.

"We had planned and dreamed and loved on that roof of ours. We didn't know that the journey that would finally bring us to our happily ever after would be full of detours and pitfalls and pain. We didn't know how much love and forgiveness and understanding would be required to make it back on the path we were meant to be on, together. But what we did know was that we were here because we had both been willing to fight; to fight for each other, to fight for ourselves, to fight for the kids who needed a place to belong, to fight for love. And that means that despite all the pain that we had endured to be where we are, in the end, love won." ~ Leo, the Epilogue

I love this story! I really enjoyed the first book, Leo, but this book being told from Leo's POV was ten times better to me! I was thrilled with what Dr.Fox did in the end and so happy to see Leo finally get some love and support that he desperately needed! Truly, a great book.

I read Leo and Leo's Chance pretty much together, yes I have too much time on my hands, and I found that really helped me enjoy the books so much more. If I had just read Leo I think I would have found him infuriating as a character as well, but reading his thoughts parallel to Evie's helped me process what both characters were feeling in a way that made the story deeper. And helped me build more empathy towards both main characters. Both of these fictional people had been through terrible situations and yet eventually both came through the other side as good people, though Leo took longer than Evie did and sometimes that made her seem too perfect.

I do think Leo's thoughts sometimes come across as clearly being written by a female (I say that growing up with 3 brothers with guys around all the time) but its a work of fiction. I am not looking to read War and Peace here.

This is also a book where I could actually say that him being a man whore (due to what happened to him) made sense especially in how treated his partners, and it equally made sense why he stopped. Hello therapy to deal with trauma and work on coping mechanisms! I swear in other books they seem to imply the love of a good, usually virgin, woman will stop a man from screwing equally promiscuous women for the rest of his life (insert eye roll). It was obvious in the writing that Leo loved and adored Evie and I never once felt like he would ever take her for granted. I do think Gwen's bitchiness was a little over the top and Lauren's comeuppance a bit too karmic but overall I really enjoyed this book and liked both characters. That's a win for me in this genre.

This is the 7th Mia Sheridan book I’ve read and they’ve all been 5 stars... not many authors I can say this about. She is officially on my list of top 5 fave authors. I think I love her .... Her books are always exactly what I want.
I really enjoyed getting a look inside Leo’s mind!

Well this was...underwhelming.
To be fair, I'm not a re-reader, and basically Leo's Chance is Leo but in a different POV. I was quite bored throughout the book. It was just spice and a pinch of plot. I did expect to see Leo's life before re-meeting Evie and more details. Instead it's him dreading the moment she knows the truth and simping (a bit too much)over her...In conclusion Leo is way better

I absolutely love this book so much that I’ve read it several times. Leo and Evie are so perfect together it’s amazing how Mia Sheridan can write fictional characters to make people feel such emotions. This is the second story in the series, so make sure you read Evie’s POV first, because it will make a lot more sense that way. There is talk of child abuse/molestation, but it’s not graphic and is necessary to that specific character. Give this book a try, it’s wonderful.

I loved Leo, but I'm pretty sure that I loved this one better, something about a guy's POV I guess.
