Get ready to swoon.
This book is a sexy, funny, sweet story of Barrett Wilson and Ava Saunders.
I enjoy this love story of falling in love with the best friends younger sister.
Great buildup to the characters background and current day lives.
Loved the tension between the pull of these two characters trying to resist each other.
Is breaking the Bro code worth it for Barrett?
Does Ava have what it takes to keep her priorities in check when it comes to helping the family business?
Go One Click and find out if breaking the code is worth it for these two!

Classic forbidden crush of best friend’s sister/ brother’s best friend scenario. They both fight the attraction — Barrett (the male lead) claiming he’s loyal to the “bro code” but fail miserably. Enter some steamy 🔥🔥🔥 scenes and secrets that threaten to rip their new found relationship to pieces. -
I read and listened. I love that the narrators alternate in each chapter (the female narrator is not reading the male parts and vice versa despite whose chapter it is). Super fun stand-alone!

Yoohoo! Down here! I know, that yum num of a man meat cover may leave even the strongest of women weak-kneed with some serious jilling inspiration (may or may not be speaking for myself...) but I do believe I have a semi-interesting rant worth your wondering eyes.

Want to know one of my favorite romance tropes? Kind of like a guilty pleasure that if I see anything remotely mentioning it, it is an insta-buy?! Easy... Childhood romances, especially ones involving the 'off limits' best friend sibling scenarios. Ergo my tickled fancy for Bro Code. To say my sign up for this tour wasn't instant is an understatement, stalking my kindle and email for the mention of an ARC being delivered is grossly understated.

Oh Ava and Barrett. I am still swooning from everything - but first things first...

Barrett is absolutely my wet dream boat of man. He is charming, witty, workaholic and downright sexy. Honestly, his personality was my absolute favorite throughout. Barrett is one of those characters who just seeps out sex appeal, dripping with it yet he has a softer, more down to earth side. Ava on the other hand is the same yet slightly different. She is stubborn, driven, while she is witty and sarcastically hilarious, she has a bit of innocence to her. Personally my favorite attribute was that she was a woman in a man's world, and running it like a champ. Her perseverance was empowering.

I say this because it leads more so into the romantic connection - Ava wasn't a lay down and ask for help kind of gal. Though she admitted when she needed help or advice, she never allowed the situation to overstep her morals or herself.

Now on to the tidbits we all romance bingers care for - the romance. This is what I love about the trope when it is done right. I enjoy when the romance isn't just something that developed because they grew up and realized 'Well shit, he is fuckable' because no, there was always a crush. Not only this, but their romance was built on a childhood friendship, so there was trust, laughs and above all a respect between them before they crossed that line. Oh comrades, the push and pull of crossing that line could not have been any hotter. I am still fanning myself out... whew.

Definitely a favorite of mine! Kendall Ryan is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine, especially after reading Bro Code than immediately typing furiously on Amazon to find more books by, I would say I am a solid fan waving my hands like I just  don't care, screaming 'OH GIMMMMMIE...' - because what else are you supposed to do when you find an author you enjoy the writing styles from? Bro Code was light and heavy all at the same time, enough depth to the characters to where I was intrigued start to finish and above all the entire book was entertainingly delicious. I cannot wait to add more of Kendall Ryan to my TBR because I just bought the Roommates Series; don't you judge me!

Ava and Barrett. Kind of a slow and predictable start. Kind of a predictable ending. But pretty good in the middle.

Barrett finds himself very attracted to his best friends little sister. He had been for awhile. And "bro code" prohibits him from acting on it. Until she becomes too irresistible to him. Ava also has been crushing on her older brother's best friend for awhile. And she is finally able to act on it when the two find themselves at her father's retirement party weekend together. They spend a lot of time trying to deny the feelings between them, but eventually act on them. As you would expect, they must hide what's happening and sneak around under everyone's noses. And when his weekend is over and he has to return back to his life in the city, they find they still can't fight the attraction. But a situation arises that threatens to blow them apart. If I had been paying closer attention, I would have seen it coming a mile away.

The situation gets resolved in pretty much the way you'd expect. Except now, I'm not sure it was satisfying. There was some pretty backstabby stuff happening and I'm not sure I would have been as forgiving.

Nevertheless, these two crazy kids get their HEA and things work out. Overall, an interesting read. Like I said, kind of slow at first, but things picked up and got pretty steamy between the two. They made a good pair and in the end, made the right decisions for all.

Honestly if the narrators weren’t so good I probably would of DNF’d. Not sure what it was but there was a lot of build up for the ending to be rushed.

Bro Code is Kendall Ryan's newest sexy, fun, sweet romance. I'm a huge fan of Kendall's and I have read over thirty of her books and I have to say that Barrett is one of my favorite heroes of hers! I loved every inch of him from the top of his sexy head to the bottom of his toes and everything in between. Barrett always had a thing for his best friend Nick's sister, Ava. He hasn't seen her in years and when he's back in town for Nick's dad's retirement party, he's shocked to find out he's going to be sleeping under the same roof as Ave. Uh oh. This is not going to work. If he thought she was a beautiful teenager, he's not going to be able to stay away from the gorgeous woman she grew up to be. The bro code if very serious. You don’t date your bro's ex or their sister. Period. But when Ava is there and she's funny and sexy and when they are forced to spend some time together, Barrett can't not touch her. He can't not want her. He isn't thinking about Nick or if he will lose his friend. He's only thinking about the way he feels about her. How much he can't let her go. But what happens when reality sets in? Can they really have a future together? I absolutely loved this story! Barrett was everything. Ava is hilarious and independent and never stopped crushing on Barrett. Bro Code is laugh out loud funny, fan yourself sexy and I didn't want to put it down.

Because the thought of not touching her is a fate worse than death.

"Yeah, you ended up being a lot…well…more than I was expecting."
"I was, huh? Sorry, I'll keep it in its cage next time."
"You're such an ass."

"I don't think my ass was part of my anatomy in question."
