Content Warnings

“Urban Lit”.... a different change of pace for me but much needed!
It held and peaked my interest. Lots of twists and turns, even though some of them I kinda figured it was going to turn that direction.
“Juicy “ Mo... definitely had 9 lives and then some in this novel. But I did enjoy ALL the drama and everything in between! The narrator did a phenomenal job on this read!!

5 stars because it kept me entertained THE whole time. Noire does a great job at giving the readers a coming of age story that combines urban fiction and suspense. If it were a movie this book would definitely be rated R so if sex, drugs, and violence make you squeamish proceed with caution. But if you’re like me and enjoy a good piece of every urban literature then this book won’t disappoint.

I really really really hate to admit I liked this. I also hate to admit that it was a recommendation from a student (several actually). That was some high school I used to work at. Gotta love NYC.
