This one would have been a 5 star, but continuity is important to me and this book has a few variations from the first. It takes place one week after the events in Luxe, however in book one, she has worked with this group of 3 males (plus a fourth male co-star Paul who is mentioned in the first book but it’s clear he is not a cast member in the second) for one year. In this book she has worked with them for “a few years”. It’s small editing errors like this that just bother me. If I hadn’t read them back to back I may not have noticed, and I’m aware it’s a small thing to complain about, but I am who I am I guess. Thanks to booksirens for allowing me to read and review this book for free.

This is the second book in this series. It had stronger romance storyline between Harlowe and Cas. I think Cas is very romantic and it's good to see interact as a couple. However, Harlowe keeps over analyzing and almost denying what they have then giving me whiplash with her irrational back tracking. OMG it was super annoying.

I felt like the description was a bit misleading of Harlowe's actions after the gala.

The spice was phenomenal. Probably the best I've read and this story's saving grace. This story was longer than the first due to the increased storyline and dialogue outside of the sexy times. I think it's a good airport read. Quick and sexy but the ending was frustrating. And I'm not sure that I'm committed enough to continue reading.

I think if we got multiple POVS it would be a game changer. Or if we were able to see each individual couple interacting alone prior to and leading up to the spice.

I was excited for the second book of this series as it’s not a genre I typically read but the first one was a fun, fast read.

Bliss definitely delivered in the fun department. It’s a lighthearted read without much consequence. The plot is light and steam is the main focus. I enjoyed the first few chapters that built up to the main storyline but felt like there was redundancy in Harlowe’s reflection/viewpoint without much challenge. The writing is strong and the storytelling is consistent.
