Purely political POV. It depicts how the over anthusiasts take over the perfectly governing body and slowly degrade their methods and create a huge difference between groups, eventually creating upper and lower classes.

"Todos os animais são iguais, mas alguns são mais iguais do que outros." (leia-se: todas as pessoas são iguais, mas algumas são mais iguais do que outras).

So I have heard a lot about this book. I wondered how this book is going to be . I was excited to read this book as the concept of animals managing a farm was innovative and revolutionary to me. I can never comprehend that animals are actually managing a farm. I have recently started reading novels on my mobile kindle as I can't order Kindle paperwhite due to corona lockdown. So I completed the book quickly.

Summary of the book is that we can never achieve an equal society. One of us will become leader and then again the dictatorship will start. As per one of political theory regarading origin of state and king, we all were defenseless and had to look after ourselves. So we all decided to come together and agreed to let go some of our Rights for overall safety and rule based order. So King and concept of state came where all the citizens decided to give power to decide for them to the king. Also not every decision can be put to vote due to sheer size of population and not everybody is equally capable to comprehend the issue nominated for voting. So we started choosing leaders. Similarly the Pigs were made leaders of animals because they were wise and gave good results initially. But like any religion or any social group which emerge to fight the evils /dogmas or rituals became part of that same evils which he /she decided to remove. the lines Even when you have conquered him, do not adopt his vices. are the motto of all the societies but gradually they deviates from this. The pigs removed the Jone but gradually became worse than Jone

So the book is attack on capitalism and brother eat brother. these lines Yet he is lord of all the animals. He sets them to work, he gives back to them the bare minimum that will prevent them from starving, and the rest he keeps for himself perfectly suits to a capitalist factory owner
Animalism flag of hoof and horn look like soviet's flag. .

Animals especially Boxer and sheeps did not put their mind to whatever the Pigs were telling them. Only the Clover was bit intelligent to find irregularities in the commandments.

Pigs started gradually amassing wealth starting from milk and apples . They diverted all the riches to themselves . They started living comfortably while the rest of animals kept on putting hard labour. Napoleon started wooing the animals towards him and if anything wrong happened, blame was put on Snowball. it is just like propaganda movies of USA and Russia. Finally with one act of slaughter , terror was instilled. Brain washing was effective. Soon hereditary and class differentiation starts with all pigs were given extra privilege than other animals . This was epitome which ends with pigs behaving like men and actually became men.

It smells like Russia's communism but I have to read more about Russia to come to final conclusion. But however the book was good and worth reading. It got a hit because it was written at World War 2 time and perfectly suit the propaganda against communism. Now I am more excited to read about Russia .

A great example of how unlimited power can corrupt even the most loyal fighter. Humans and pigs are just the same.
