okay, wow. I'm glad it finished things off better than the 22nd volume. I'm now happier with the ending. Kiriko and Kanna reunion was :") but then again, we didn't see them interact much, nor did we see a Kenji and Kiriko reunion but it's alright I guess.

It ends here. A bit of underwhelm but nicely wrapped.
SpoilerThere was a scene with the three mangaka where they voice out a concern of how to end the story they're writing, which for me, like Urasawa himself has doubt about how he should end this 20th Century Boys saga.

All in all, a very well crafted story, plot & character wise. Highly recommend!

Recently reread the entire 20th/21st Century Boys series. Doing so in a couple of weeks certainly makes it hold up better than over a 4 year span as when the books were first released in English.
A few too many twists. “Here’s yet another classmate who might be the Friend who wasn’t mentioned until we established that the last one isn’t the Friend.”
But overall, this comes to a satisfying ending, which is remarkable for a series as long and complex as this one.

I just wish paranormal didn't play such a big role in giving the answers. It seems a bit out of synch with the rest of the series that paranormal elements plays such a big role in both the 21st Century Boys books.

OK, this is REALLY the last volume of the series and a really nice ending (though still kind of confusing if you're reading month to month and get all the little masked kids confused). I loved this series, though maybe not quite as much as Pluto.
