While I absolutely was a fan of the premise I really struggled to be captivated by the writing. I also felt that in the end it was too obvious what it would happen? It’s a true shame, but it just wasn’t my type of book.

HOW I’ll KILL YOU has a unique premise and would be a nightmare for law enforcement everywhere, with identical triplet beautiful psychopathic serial killers.

They find their victims through love, since taking someone’s life that loves you is the ultimate test in forever passion.
The two “older” sisters have 3 kills each under their belt and now it’s time for 25yo virgin Sissy, to join this demented game of love and death.

Sissy has cleaned up her sisters bloody messes each time, but now that she has found her mark and he has fallen in love with her…she finds herself wavering on if she could pull off the ultimate love test her sisters have mastered.
Love isn’t so simple after all and things don’t always work out as planned.

Dark thriller and I loved the triplets. The ending wasn’t as surprising as I would have hoped but it was still overall a very fun read!

Thanks to @prhaudio for the gifted copy. Karissa Vacker does a phenomenal job playing the part of Sissy.

Very interesting premise with the triplets. I was curious to know how long they planned to live the lives they did. It did make for a confusing read at times with all the names, aliases, nicknames. I found it hard to connect with all 3 sisters, not sure if I needed to as "the youngest" was the main character. Overall I enjoyed the read (listen). I'd even be interested in a follow up.

Just finished "I'll Kill You" by Ren Destefano, and it's a thrilling 4 stars! Sissy's character development is captivating as she navigates the dark legacy of her serial killer family while grappling with unexpected feelings for her target, Edison. The humor and sarcasm woven throughout add a unique twist to this gripping tale of love, loyalty, and betrayal. Destefano's writing keeps you on the edge of your seat, balancing suspense with moments of genuine emotion. As Sissy's relationship with Edison intensifies, so does the tension, leading to an explosive climax that will leave you guessing until the very end. If you're looking for a darkly humorous thriller with complex characters and a twisty plot, "I'll Kill You" is a must-read!

I was really impressed by the author's ability to convey the ride or die loyalty between the sisters, despite how irrational it may seem to outsiders. It's a dynamic usually born of trauma/abandonment and Ren absolutely nailed it. Same with the way the main character Sissy would latch onto the smallest details about other's behavior and create huge maladaptive daydreams out of them.

If you enjoy dark media like May, Dexter, American Psycho, etc, give this book a shot. If you liked this book, "Kill For Love" by Laura Picklesimer is similar.
