By the time you finish this book, there's a chance you'll be taking a bit sigh and just trying to process everything that happened.
Just about every question that Eve has ever had about her past or present get answered, but she sure doesn't like all of them. Worse, one of the biggest ones is just dropped on her like a bombshell and told to her right after a huge betrayal in her life.
Something I really wish for this series is that it would be multiple points of view. It's all told from Eve's side, and while it's done well and is, of course, still a great story, I wish I could have the guy's point of view sometimes.
The spice level in the first book is pretty much non-existent. It finally begins later in this book but is still about a 2/5. This series is definitely more about the storyline and the characters than the spice, but it's nice to read when it happens!
This book is a bit sad in parts, and I'm almost worried about the fate of some characters in the next book, but I'm about to dive in right now to find out!

Better than the previous book. I’m glad the relationships within the Bond finally deepened. Was slightly slow getting through the book which is why it’s 4 stars, not 5.
