I enjoyed this one a bit more than _The Nest_, because while the characters were still complex, I found them (mostly) more likable in this newer novel.

I liked that this book was told from different viewpoints that then piece the story timeline together. I feel like the plot could have gone deeper or maybe been explored more because I feel like the author went through some feelings in situations too quickly.

Ok book. Very typical rich couple, married forever, finds out husband is cheating, and drama ensues. The writing isn't bad. There's just nothing unique about the story, characters, or the drama. I don't mind this particular trope in a book, but unfortunately this one was cookie cutter. I will try other books by this author as I did enjoy the writing itself.

3.5 stars. I am probably in the minority but I liked this book so much more than The Nest. I really became invested in the lives of the 4 main characters. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was fantastic so that may have helped with my connection to the characters. Some parts of the plot felt unfinished when the book ended but overall it is a sweet story about love, friendship and connection.
