An eventful and heart stopping page turner...albeit rather disturbing and not one to read without the light on!

Graham,
I was expecting something else. Something that did surprise me, not disgust me — not at all the same. You confuse shocking people with surprising people — and while it's sometimes commendable to give more of what we think we want, us reader, it's better to share your unique voice...
It's not that you're as bad as Koontz with his copy/paste intrigue, but hell, where's the finesse ?
It's a big no, and I hope the next installments will be better aligned with what you can produce !

A Terrible Beauty
5 Stars
A well-written and relentlessly gripping plot with an intelligent, strong and likeable heroine.
That said, the descriptions are quite graphic and disturbing so the book is definitely NOT for the squeamish or faint of heart.

Zresztą powiedzmy sobie szczerze - gdyby morderca nie chciał zabić pani komisarz, to ta prawdopodobnie nigdy by go nie znalazła, bo więcej informacji zdobył irytujący profesor niż pani komisarz i jej zespół.

An interesting crime novel set in Cork, Ireland, with Detective Superintendent Katie Maguire in the role of the protagonist. She doesn't have an easy time of things with one crisis after another and all the time having to solve a crime that is somehow connected to another crime that occurred over 80 years before.
Well worth the read.
Well worth the read.
