Great little book about Black spirituality and all its intersections, something I know next to nothing about. I loved the vignettes capturing the life and spirit of New Orleans and African Diaspora practices. Like many things do, this book made me think of the ancestors and spiritual lineage/heritage.

This book was gifted to me by a friend that knows of my Creole background. I enjoyed reading this book as I recognized so much of the culture. This is a great book for anyone trying to dive deeper into knowledge about black spirituality as well as for those that are just getting started. The author includes a lot of information as well as guides to materials to use for Divinations.
