I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the many mysteries that it slowly picked apart. It was a unique concept and initially not what I expected I would enjoy. While the idea of cryptography seemed interesting I was skeptical of the focus on religion (a topic I usually do not choose to read about). I was pleasantly surprised. I became engaged with each clue and while it was not possible for me to ever figure one out, I enjoyed watching Robert and Sophie do so themselves. I love thriller and mystery books like this, with plot twists left and right, but up until now these novels mainly consisted of simpler young adult books. I am happy to have found one that is more complex and even touches on heavier topics. While it was arguably quite unrealistic, it was such a captivating storyline with such intricately crafted characters and immense detail that is incredibly impressive.

Read this entire series when I was 11 and thought it was the greatest book ever written, after all the HP's of course. Not actually the best book ever, not even close. Def makes sense than my mom bought it from Ralph's for me.
