4.75/5 stars!

This was everything I had hoped for, and I just love this so damn much. The ending is seriously perfect for this series, and it pains me to have to say goodbye.

I can't believe that this series is over :'( It really grew up on me!! I love it!! *-*
I love Ash!! This book just made me love him even more, if that is possible.
We really have a different perspective of him, but that only confirms what we already know. That he is an incredible guy, though marked by a lot of pain and a terrible past.
Yes, he did horrible things. He killed, bullied, humiliated, broke a lot of hearts. But that was not his true self.
The real Ash is someone who loves so much that he is willing to risk his life for the one he loves. The real Ash is someone who is capable of passion, mercy...emotion!!
Just perfect.
The entire book was an emotional roller coaster!!
Let me just say that finding out that Ariella was really alive was a great shock. I have no shame to say that I really hated her almost until her end. I hated that she came back to awake some really disturbing emotions, buried deep inside of Ash. I hated that she appeared so fragile. I hated her for making Ash think about a possible future with her.
But in the end she made amends and I was really surprised with her choices.
And Ash and Meghan will have a son named Kierran!! OMG!! I so wanted a book where we could read all of this. Their marriage, their life together, Meghan pregnant, the birth of Kierran *-*
OMG The love Ash felt for his son -*-* And his pain when he woke up and found out that it was an illusion :'( He really wanted a family *-* Gosh *-* Ash will be an excellent father!!
The end was a bit mysterious. I didn't quite understand it. Grimalkin and a tree. Humm!! I am thinking about it!!!

Such a chore to get through. Formulaic and dry. I finished this series, but have no intention of reading the sequel series.

So, The Iron Knight.
We see this in Ash's point of view.
I was so excited for this book, the iron queen was awesome and we saw Meghan grow and use her powers and become a Queen and all so yeah
Ash turns into this journey to become a mortal, wise decision. With puck as a road-trip partner. I got bored many times. I think one of the things I love about this books is Meghan's awkwardness and Puck's hilarious comments.
This book made change all the feelings I had for Ash to twist them and make me hate him.
Where do I start?? Everywhere they turned there was trouble. It was a relief in some way to not have Meghan finding herself about to die and in need of help. But still there were dangers awaiting for them. This book made me love Puck even more, he is just such a sweetie, I would totally marry hum. So then Ash's beloved girl who was supposed to be more than dead is still alive AND will accompany them through this journey. So since the beginning Ash never got over her so when he saw her all his feelings got mixed up. Which I don't blame him, this dudette is alive again! Yay! But what about Meghan? You stupid bastard if you are having doubts leave this friggin quest nobody is forcing you and just elope with your dudette (I forgot her name). But NOOOOOO! HE SAYS HE FUGGIN OWES IT TO MEGHAN BECAUSE HE PROMISED HER!! Like if is the only reason he cannot be with his dudette is because of Meghan's promise. Which she already released him from. She even fuggin told him in a dream o stay with his dudette, that it was fine.
But fuggin Ash doesn't listen. I just hurt me that Puck saw Ash getting close to the dudette, Puck saw them hugging, holding hand and it was painful because BEAUTIFUL Puck would never do that Megahan. BECAUSE HE ONLY HAS EYES FOR MEGAPHAN UNLIKE BASTARD ASH.
In the end I liked dudette, which I try so hard not to. Because I was in Meghan's side and how unbearable it would've been to her to see Ash and his dudette together. But dudette was selfless and gave her friggin life for Ash. I mean, augh. I just...cant.
There was a point where I did cry, when Ash is having this vision of him aging. And it was painful right in the guts. Seeing this fearless, strong dude being deteriorated by his mortality. I think it just showed me my fear of getting old and aging and becoming weak over time. So Ash did redeemed himself in the end by choosing aging just to be with Meghan.
So this book was OK, but that's it. THAT'S IT. I still think Meghan deserves to be with Puck, but oh well.
I mean Puck did go to the end of the world for her, still knowing he wouldn't be with her. And he gladly did it without complaining AND he didn't told Megahan about Ash and dudette. If Megahan would've hear everything Puck saw, she would have second guess everything but he didn't because he knows she is happy with Ash. Stupid book.

My fall began, as many stories do, with a girl

It's a wrap! With the Iron Knight I finished the main story of the Iron Fey.

At first, I was sure this book was a 3-star to me. Compared to the previous three books, this one is written in Ash's pov. It felt strange to know his thoughts and I started to miss Meghan immediately. I did like her a lot during the Iron Queen.

The first 250 pages had been a roller-coaster. I cannot write about the details, because I could spoil you guys ... however, I had one sentence running through my head while reading: "What if Ash hadn't taken that oath?" Something huge happened I did not see coming and I wasn't really happy about that.
However, after finishing the Iron Knight I realized the message of this book. Thus, this huge something was necessary for Ash's development. Now, I can fully understand Ash, feel with him and respect him. He showed another side of him we couldn't see before and I'm very glad we had this chance to see the real Ash, not that ice-cold winter prince.

The story itself was a good as the previous ones. I do really appreciate the love/hate friendship between Ash and Puck. Puck did help him a lot in this on, although Ash was quiet nasty to him. It's actually worth to know more about their past adventures
Grimalkin is just the best cat ever :D

The ending was extremely heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. Now it's time to say goodbye to Meghan, Ash, Puck and Grimalkin. What a group they had been :D

I had my ups and downs, but this book deserves to my mind 4 stars, as well as the whole series.

I am still yours, my queen," Ash said, looking me straight in the eyes. "if you'll have me."

gods this book is amazing, Julie worked her magic once more. ash and meghan though. and Puck changed somehow. he kinda lost his dearest friends. Ash and Meg being in the iron realm now makes it harder for him. I still prefer Goodfellow but I still love Ash as well.
