Une histoire sympathique et de très belle illustration. J'ai passé un très bon moment et j'ai bien aimé le supplément d'informations à la fin.

Trigger warnings: Floods

Sounds like another good fantasy novel!
Update: 6.5/10, this was an OK graphic novel but even though I quite enjoyed this it left some plot holes when I finished it and I highly doubt that I would pick this up again especially considering that I've read better ones since then, where do I begin. The characters were all flat but Iris was self-centered at first but she stopped being that way in the end so at least there's one person who got character development. The plot was very confusing and I could not just wrap my head around it. There was a lost city that had a dam which overflowed flooding the city then the waters receded and then it flooded again? There was a scene about a clock tower and a bell which might be related to the plot but I didn't understand how exactly it was related. In the end the main character barely escapes the old town then goes to the new town for the unveiling of the sculpture and that ends this book which was a very mixed bag. If you like graphic novels try Wingbearer by Marjorie M. Liu instead of this.

Plot - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Illustrations - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Overall - 4.5 stars

First of all, I have to mention the illustrations because they are stunning! The characters are adorably designed and the scenery is amazing. Jason Pamment has a gift for using lighting to create epic visual effects. He has illuminated his pages with radiance!

I loved the subtle and dignified sense of mystery and wonder in this story. I also love how the meanings of certain discoveries where presented, the author has well employed the theory 'show, don't tell'. Great read!
