If you are a paranormal romance girlie that loves spice I cannot recommend this more. That said, I would place a STRONG trigger warning for SA. This book speaks about it consistently. 

Sweet Vengeance follows Joy, after she summons a demon named Malachi, to assist in her plot to murder her r@pist and make it look like an accident. With Malachi's help, she tortures her r@pist and murders him. Along the way, Malachi becomes her home, making her comfortable enough to be touched and loved again. 

This story is was extremely real and spoke to the rightful rage of many survivors and the way we struggle with support afterward. I loved the way Malachi became her safe space. This is the first in a series and I cannot wait to read the next.

In order to kill her rapist and take back control of her sanity, Joy summons a demon (Malachi) but doesn’t expect him to be so charming, human-like…and handsome. After 18 months in the mortal realm, Malachi has never felt an attraction like the one he has for Joy and realizes he doesn’t want to be alone anymore. Their interactions were so cute, especially the ‘safe sex talk’ scene that had me giggling. The spice was fantastic throughout, but the final pages really had me blushing.

Read bc one of my fav authors recommended. 

Just don’t think this was the book for me. It was way heavier than I anticipated. Definitely a book you should check out the content warnings for.
I was going to give it a 3ish star because it was fine, but the epilogue really threw me for a loop. And it took me 5-6 weeks to finish. I probably just shouldn’t have picked it back up.

This was amazing! First of all so hot and baby the consent in this??? Scalding. I enjoyed this book so much and I will absolutely be rereading this soon.
