The stories by Maureen Johnson and John Green I would give between a 2.5 and 2.75. Although quite a cliche, and filled with the usual YA tropes and character stereotypes, they were still fun to read. Lauren Myracle's offering lacked a cohesive plot, cohesive characters and the writing was a bit overly simple. I gave that story between 1.75 and 2.0.

Awwww well that was just the cutest ending. I was loving Jeb as soon as the book started and he was the only character I liked all the way through so I'm more than happy that the book ended with his story.

The ending made this book a 3 star but the rest of the book was more of a 2. Nothing special, don't think I'll read it again but I'm glad I gave it a go.

I enjoyed the ending, although it was all happening so fast that I kept getting ahead of myself and missing snippets. I'm still not sure about the whole Mayzie part, and I still don't like Addie. But I really liked Maureen Johnson's and John Green's portions of the book. I liked Lauren Myracle's, but I didn't like it near as much as I liked the others - mostly because I just don't like Addie.

Not surprisingly, I like the John Green story the best.

Ik las ren versie met de filmcrew op de voorkant. Wat ik sowieso lelijk vind, maar ook irritant  aangezien er heel veel veranderd is in de film. En in dit geval vond ik de film beter dan het boek.
