All around good time. Andy is adorable, Tay is fun and sweet, and Dakota is steady and loving.

Amy Aislin writes some of the best warm, low-angst romances around, and this one is no exception. It’s a story about expectations and dreams deferred, and how finding the right person can help bring everything into focus.
Hockey player Tay is young and in the NHL, but still doesn’t feel he measures up, while single dad Dakota has spent years deferring his dreams in order to provide stability for his young son. All the Aislin trademarks I love are here - interesting side characters, swoony scenes of humor and romance, adults acting adult when conflicts arise. And there’s some fabulous hockey scenes, as well.
This is my first of Amy’s hockey romances, but it won’t be the last.

Maybe it’s a me problem but this one was kind of boring to me. I kept skimming over a lot of things. Maybe it was too instalovey. Maybe I’m not really into the single parent thing. I don’t know.
