A little hidden gem 💕. I loved this so so so so much and I’m excited to finally have read it after having it in my collection for a while! Pulled at every heartstring. This really had it all, from family relations to dealing with grief and first love. Such an adorable coming-of-age story. Lou and Sam were amazing characters and idk idk idk like I can’t say enough good about them! It was also nice to see how people can succeed in different ways because life is different for everyone.

No stop. This book has ALL kinds of feels. Way different than what I thought inwas going in for. Definitely deep emotion heavy. But oh so good. These kids have my heart. They are so relatable and adorable. Excellent read, ALL THE STARS

Neighbors and childhood best friends Lou and Sam had a huge falling-out years ago. But when Lou stumbles upon their old bucket list, the two are drawn back together to complete the remaining items before graduation. I hadn’t realized Our Way Back to Always was actually a spin-off of another book, but it didn’t influence my ability to enjoy it.

What I loved:

Really enjoyed the book overall! I think some parts dragged a bit, and there are other parts I would have preferred to be longer, and a couple of confusing parts (like one minute Benny is into Lou and she agrees to go out with him but then suddenly he realizes she and Sam are into each other, but there was nothing really about Lou and Benny to clarify that part of them that I recall), but it was overall a really enjoyable read and a cute romcom and I really enjoyed the descriptions of the scenery :)
