Despite being a heavy task, the war ends in a very interesting place. Although it smells as the viltrumites went above and beyond their creator.

Well God DAMN!

Wow. Absolutely awesome issue.

Remember the term Action- Packed ? This was action packed . And that's an understatement

Mark joins his super powered family in space to join the coalition for the decisive war against Viltrumite . And lots of punching , eye gouging & bloody mess ensues . It was terrific page after page it was action packed and I enjoyed the hell out of it . This was comic book fanservice done right and I couldn't stop myself from swiping to the next page. (yes I read digitally)

But it's not just action , there was enough murk to thicken the plot .Questionable Decisions were made , characters bonded , Tech Jacket was made to feel useless , and so much happened .

Can't wait for the next issue , and this is yet another stellar issue in the Invincible title

So. Much. Blood. The art is so good and the battle that was told was phenomenal. I’m still unsure about the ending but there’s plenty of seeds planted for the next few volumes with Eve, Bulletproof, and Oliver.

With a title like "The Viltrumite War", you just knew that Vol. 14 was going to deliver. And it did. It really did. The conflict herein has been building since the very beginning of this comic book, and includes the core players that we've grown to love. Mark, Nolan, Oliver, Allen the Alien. Thaedus and the Coalition of Planets have beeen preparing for war. The Viltrumites were born for it. And the ensuing chaos is brilliant.

In the midst of unsurprisingly brutal and suitably intense battles between people like Nolan, Mark, Conquest, Thragg, and other immensely heavy hitters of Invincible, Kirkman manages to keep personal, human stories at the forefront of this book. And the end of the war is unconventional in a way that feels... unsatisfying is the wrong word, but it feels necessary. Perfect for making readers wonder what it will mean for the future of the comic.

The war is over, but we didn't win.
