This is the first book I read to my son and although he is only 11 weeks old, he seemed to enjoy it (as did I)!

I love how everything came back full circle, I’m almost glad I read this one last but I feel like i should have read this one before The Last Battle. That way I would have understood the creation of Narnia and all the talking beasts, I would have known who King Frank and Queen Helen were, same for Polly and the Professor. I know this is a children series, but I’m glad I read it at this age, it’s wholesome and sort of makes you look at the “magic” in the world differently. Definitely a series that I would like to read to my future children some day.

Also, eff Susan.

A beautiful read, but one can tell that it’s a ‘if you didn’t understand it was about Christianity, this book will se you straight’ novel.
