After the disappointment of the second book, this was a pleasure to read. The new character gallery is diverse and interesting, and the old character gallery is a joy to see reunited once again. I especially thought the way Mulch Diggums was introduced back into the story was very creative. Everything that didn't work in book 2, works so well here. The language flows easily, and the signature humor is back. The plot is inventive and the solutions to the problems are creative and satisfying. Artemis Fowl is finally back!

i wasn’t that big of a fan of the first half but i really enjoyed the heist in the second half, i’m not sure about my opinion on the ending and basically destroying three books worth of character development but we shall see how it pans out

I am that male. Artemis the hunter. I hunted you.

*A loud obnoxious cough* WHAT WAS THAT. THAT'S SO GOOD. This is exactly what I want from Artemis Fowl, his ingenious scheme and planning. You can't outwit Artemis Fowl. And as Artemis put it.

'I never tell anybody exactly how clever I am. They would be too scared.'

Even though he is still a criminal mastermind, at least now he has a conscience. Conscience in an anti-hero kind of way. He is always ten steps ahead when he is planning, and oversee everything, even the Fairies tech can't outwit him.

And that ending was just so good a freaking creme de la creme.

Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code by Eoin Colfer

The Artemis Fowl series, were the best set of books when I was a kid. They came out when I around eleven and I spent most of my time immersed in Eoin Colfer's fantastic world. With fantastic characters a whole new set of world rules and a kid my age as the lead character I was enthralled by the whole thing! Not only was the plot exciting, but it was funny! I want to read the series again in the near future.
