Thanks to St. Martin's Press for this review copy!

Loved it just as much as all of the (many, many, many) other Rosato & Associates / Rosato & DiNunzio books - a favorite legal thriller series.

I typically find Lisa Scottoline’s books to be fast-paced and well-developed. Unfortunately, Feared was a disappointment for me. It was boring and I didn't feel any connection to the characters as I usually do.

The story follows Mary DiNunzio, a young lawyer who is trying to make a name for herself at a prestigious law firm. She is assigned to a case involving a wealthy businessman who is accused of murder. Mary is determined to prove her client's innocence, but she soon finds herself up against a powerful and ruthless opponent.
The plot of Feared is fairly straightforward, and there are no major twists or turns.

It’s not a terrible book, it just wasn’t what I was looking for. 3/5 stars

To start, you don’t have to read every book in the series to read this book, but I’d recommend reading them anyway. Not only is it a good series, but you’ll have a fuller picture of the characters, whom you will grow to love. I enjoy Lisa Scottoline as an author and I feel this book is one of her best. The plot line leaves you guessing and raises interesting questions/topics. I love the interactions between the protagonist of the series and her family. They remind me of my own grandmother. Definitely one worth reading!

RATING: 4 STARS
2018; St. Martin's Press
(Review Not on Blog)

The latest instalment of Rosato & DiNunzio was a solid four star book. Nick Machiavelli is back and this time he's the lawyer to a group of men suing R&D for sexual discriminations. Mary has beaten Machiavelli in court before, and knows that he will hit her and the firm with all the dirty tactics he can. Foxman, one of their own quits the firm and doesn't deny the allegations. This could destroy R&D. Oh, and of course there is a murder... This was one I could not put down and I am ready for the next book!

***I received an eARC from NETGALLEY***

The firm has to protect itself against a lawsuit and Mary is pregnant! This series is amazing and this book fits right in. It keep you guessing until the very end. I love Mary and that she is having a baby. Her feelings are very relatable. I can’t wait until the next book in this series!

My least favorite of her books so far, not much suspense. Pretty predictable.

I enjoyed the interesting, slightly flawed older female characters in this novel.

A few twists and turns along the way but all wrapped up a little too neatly and unbelievably when the bad guy confesses

Not an author I’ve read a lot of, but one I will look for again now for sure

I totally did not see the plot twist in this one! I absolutely adore the complexity in the Rosato & DiNunzio books! Still a really refreshing series.

Feared, the sixth installment of Rosato & DiNunzio, by Lisa Scottoline kept me guessing right up to the end, although it did take me a couple of chapters to become engrossed. But, once I got into it, I was fully immersed and had to keep reading to find out "who dun it". I thought for sure I had it figured out toward the beginning but was completely wrong. This story is the law firm Rosato & DiNunzio being sued for reverse discrimination while Mary is pregnant, dealing with complications, and also trying to learn how she will balance having the baby and her career. Since this is the third of the series I've read (4, 5, & 6), I'm familiar with all of the past characters that are in this book and enjoyed getting more of their stories. Thank you to St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for giving me this book in exchange for an honest review.

Just not my cup of tea. Too much drama and the family was so over the top.
