Wow this book was trash. The only reason I read it was because it's being covered on a podcast I enjoy. The author claims to dislike bumper sticker slogans, but you could honestly get the same experience of reading this book if you chose an assortment of bumper sticker slogans and motivational posters to read. I have no clue how this book became popular when it says basically all the same "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" tidbits that have been part of the self-help genre since Think and Grow Rich and How to Win Friends and Influence People. My only positive feedback is that the audiobook was mercifully short.

Very sharp-shooter to the point no hold back advice to light the fire within you if you want to make changes to your life. Trigger warning: death is discussed as a means to cause introspection so if you don’t wish to hear harsh truths, skip chapters “you got this” and “what’s next”. Gary is motivating and gives you the pep talk/wake up talk you need to get things moving.

An aggressive but inspiring message as the title implies. He gives you a good shaking and tells you that you're better than you sell yourself to be and to get your head out of your a**. Highly recommended for those of you lacking self-confidence.
