Spanning a year in the life of seven friends, Whitney Gaskill’s Table for Seven is a heartwarming novel about the sometimes complicated relationships between husbands, wives and friends. An eclectic cast of characters brings this delightful story vibrantly to life as they go through the various ups and downs of love, marriage and friendship. Cute, quick read about 7 friends and their monthly dinner parties and all the stuff that goes on behind the scenes. The menus listed at the beginning of each chapter made me hungry. This would be a great summer beach read.

I received this book from NetGalley.com

A New Years Eve dinner turns into a regular supper club. The interesting group is made up of friends of Fran and Will Parrish. Over a year the group gets to know one another's good and bad points. Changes happen in and amoung the group, and not always in the expected ways.

A pleasant read, interesting characters, wonderful food. I'll read more of Gaskell when I'm looking for a quick read.

This book was amazing!! There were twists and turns at every corner. I really felt connections with the characters. Gaskell is an amazing author, she is one of my favorites.

This is the first Whitney Gaskell book I have read and I found it quite enjoyable. It focuses around seven characters, two married couples, and three people who are single. I enjoyed all of their stories and found them all very relate-able. The book was a bit heart wrenching at times and yes kind of cliched but I think that is what is so real about their stories. Divorces, death of a spouse, adultery; they all happen in real life.
I did find that the author seemed to drone on with some of the details but all in all it was fairly fast paced. Not a heavy read but something perfect for a day at the beach or pool.

This book was easy to read but just ok. I kept getting the two couples confused at first. Maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention. Predictable ending.

Quite enjoyable. I did wish there was a heavier emphasis on the food, though, as that much time with Fran (and, at times, Audrey and Mark) annoyed me.
