I love this dragon book 😭 So close to 5 stars and I’m hoping book 2 will be. I LOVE these characters and this world. The idea of dragons being separated by a tear between worlds is so fun and cool. I love a dragon/human bond. I love the found family aspects. This is another good one for lovers of Six of Crows. Band of misfits become thieves and a dysfunctional family. I am SO excited to have a villain(??) to point at by the end of this and feral for that story to expand in the next book. This was so lovely at times, sweet, real, emotional, but also action packed, witty, and funny. I am a BIG FAN 🤩

Firstly, the depiction of gender in this book brought me such joy and comfort. It was a beautiful way to reflect a hopeful way forward.

Loved the character development but would have loved a drop more of the plot/prophecy explained cause I'm confused. That said, I'll definitely be reading the next one.
