This was such a fun book that I couldn’t stop listening to. It’s like Princess Diaries meets The Crown. I’m excited to continue the series.

Loved it! Totally recommend if you liked The Selection by Kiera Cass or The Royal We by Heather Cocks. It was a super-fast read with really likable characters. Ended on a big cliffhanger - Can't wait for the next book! The reason I didn't give it a fifth star was because of how predictable it was, but other than that stellar writing!

I thought that I would enjoy this book but never expected to love it as much as I did. Cannot wait to jump into the next of the series!

This book was great. I didn’t really have any expectations for it and I went into it not knowing much. American Royals rotates between 4 different POVS. Princess Samantha, Princess Beatrice, Daphne, and Nina. All having connections to the royal family or in Sam and Beatrice’s case being royal. This book was full of drama. A good read especially if you like drama tv shows or movies. 10/10 recommend.

I'm disappointed but not surprised by this book. I wish this concept would have been a more adult centered book. This premise has so much promise, but as it was, it was essentially Gossip Girl meets Princess Diaries 2. I was bored for literally 75% of the book and just wasn't invested in these characters. I could totally see how the right audience would love this book, I just wasn't it.

Sometimes, you just need to read some escapist froth, and this was perfect! I loved the concept that George Washington didn't become the first US President, but became the first US King instead. There was drama, romance, scandal, and I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to read the next one!

I came in with extremely low expectations, and was pleasantly surprised. This book is a very fun read. The idea of a modern American monarchy was silly but enjoyable, how different the country would be! I really liked all of the main characters, enjoyed the different perspectives and their interactions. The plot itself was a little bit slow, but I never found myself to be bored. It was just an interesting concept with interesting characters, but didn't go too deeply into any of it. Undecided if I'll pick up the next in the series or not, but I'm definitely not against it.
