I binge read this book. Devoured 226 pages (chapter 18 on) in a little over 2 hours, finished in a couple of days.

The first half of the book was slow, but the ending half is fast-paced with lots of curves. I did not predict the ending and I was hooked on the murder case from the very beginning. I was hesitant because it is a YA novel with a high schooler lead, and I’m in my late 20s, but I didn’t find it juvenile. I’m excited for the tv show!

This book was absolutely amazing!! I love how at no point did I know how it was going to end. There were so many potential suspects, and the whole book kept me guessing! I do want to give a TW for animal lovers. There was a part that was hard to read, but I don’t want to spoil anything.
