Ok so I guess I didn't 'read' this one, but still. I liked Wreck This Journal and have done most things it asks but I found it to be kinda boring and not nearly as amazing as most people make it out to be.

I think I might go crazy. The whole 'wreck' thing it's on my perfectionist nerves. I lie this 'book' for I think it's great to help with imagination and creativity.

People say that if you have creativity, you will enjoy this book. Unfortunately, it just didn't do it for me. I am an artist but I just don't understand all this hype and rave reviews. I mean, did I seriously pay €8 to break the spine of a book and stick gum and fruit stickers on pages? I think this book could have been a hell of a lot better than it is. I heard someone say it was a cure for boredom but for me, this book is boredom. Please keep in mind that this is just my honest opinion on this book and I have the right to my opinion. Don't jump on me just because my opinion is different than yours.

Since I'll never actually completely finish this I'm adding it to my Read shelf.

This was extremely enjoyable and a good way to let loose some anger or pent up frustration at times or when I just needed a good laugh.

I was definitely put out of my comfort zone doing some of the things in this journal and some things in there I still refuse to do haha which is why I'll never complete it :P

I liked the idea of letting loose on a book but I was expecting creative prompts/ assignments/ suggestions for my students. My tween-aged daughter loved the idea of being instructed on how to destroy something :)

Although this isn't really a reading book, more of an idea and scrap book. I still throughly enjoyed being creative with the book and being able to think about the way I wanted to 'design' each page. I used wreck this journal all through out summer as I was free from school and doing my art sketch books. It was a welcome break from having to explain each of my actions towards the pages but still let me keep the creative juices flowing. I am really liking being able to look back through the pages and see the journey of becoming more reckless with the tools and substances I was using to create my master piece;) definitely would recommend this book even if you don't see yourself as a particularly creative arty person, its just good fun and easy to get stuck into.
