Beautiful, funny and sad. Several different perspectives on Cass.

This was a quick read and a tender story about Cass (Ellen Cohen) starting with her childhood. She had a very loving father she lost too soon, but boy were Denney and John Phillips AWFUL people. Thank god for her talent and bold personality - being treated like shit due to being fat was pretty damn rough.

"I år borde jag verkligen läsa mina hyllvärmare"-intentionen", what's the bloody point?

Olika perspektiv i varje kapitel.

I really liked this, but felt it suffered from a lack of back matter. The main portion of the graphic novel gives a bright and lovely introduction to Cass Elliot, or Ellen Cohen that was. What an inspiring drive and such big dreams she had.

I like Bagieu’s black and white art here in her beautiful way of drawing facial expressions and emotions. I didn’t know anything about Mama Cass and now I do!
