3.5 stars.
A funny, lighthearted story about love and friendship. Made my laugh out loud and tear up. A classic Sophie Kinsella book.

I really liked how Love Your Life was like Kinsella’s old books. The characters were likeable. The middle of the book was a bit rough but I liked how it all fell into place.

I also really liked how Ava and Matt met in Italy on a writer’s retreat and then carried on with their fling in London. Except it wasn’t a fling, they were attempting to make it be a relationship. They quickly realized they weren’t on vacation anymore when they realized how different they were and things wasn’t all sunshine and roses.

They tried to work around their differences but they kept running into trouble. Ava ended up taking Matt’s advice to finish something.

I really liked how Matt ended up being friends with Ava’s friends and how his friends became part of the group also. I thought that loyalty was refreshing to see.

Love Your Life was a four star rating. I loved how it all fell into place at the end. Thank you Netgalley and publishers for giving me the chance to read and review this. I would definitely recommend this to any Sophie Kinsella reader. My thoughts and opinions are my own.

So this one took me a bit more to get into. Normally I find Kinsella’s characters charming right off the bat, but this one took a little longer as I was getting a bit frustrated. Ultimately I ended up enjoying the book and familiar plot line and falling in love with the characters.

Definitely not my favourite Sophie Kinsella book, but still pretty cute. I liked the beginning (though it felt really rushed) but when Ava and Matt got back to London they got sooo annoying and just felt like different characters. Also they got together so fast and I did not feel the chemistry at the beginning. But there were still parts that made me actually laugh out loud and I thought the ending was super cute so that made up for it.

Another Sophie Kinsella romance on audio and another hit. I just love these books. They are perfect escapism. This book had a fantastic found family - Matt and Ava’s friends were fab. I was desperate for Matt and Ava to get their HEA. Another brilliant romance from Sophie Kinsella and I loved the audio.

I feel bad for missing this when it originally came out! I’m too much of a fan for that. Sophie Kinsella is almost always a good bet. There were times in this book where I wasn’t sure where it was going or if I was going to like the “moral” of the story, but it ended perfectly and I ultimately loved all the characters.

First off, the description caught my attention right away, but I feel like that was kind of where it stopped. Did I enjoy the story? A bit. Was it the best I've read from this author? I wouldn't say that. Would I reread it? Probably not.

Overall, this was an entertaining story, but not one that will live rent free in my head for the rest of time. I enjoyed the fact that it was a light, easy read, that I was able to follow. I found myself more interested in the supporting characters than the main ones, and felt like their friend group was pretty fun.

I loved the idea that this book took, but felt it could've gone in others ways to grab my attention better. I have read others by this author and LOVED them, and I will definitely be reading more of her books.
