I thought this was a really good book. It's definitely a light,(as in happy as well as short,) and it's definitely meant for girls. I thought some of the smaller characters weren't put into enough detail, and also I thought that it was way too predictable. I have to hand to Springer, that she was, I admit, able to keep me on my toes. The characters were very relatable, and I think considering it is a chick book, girls will really appreciate this element. Overall, really nice, and it's able to ease one's mind. So I did like it, and I would reccomend it to any girl who likes a good, quick, heart-warming romance.

This was so cute! I would have given this 5 stars but you can't exactly fit a lot of character development into less than 200 pages. But this was still very cute. Jane was so cute and nice and the little character development she did get was very good. Cam is dreams and I know how much of a trope that was but I don't particularly care. Em would make the perfect best friend and Derek was hilarious. I wish we saw more of Sarah though. But like I said 200 pages. I appropriately thought Will was a jerk and Melissa a prick. And this was all very cute.I would love to read more from this author I only wish this was longer.

A little bit about finding yourself, misunderstandings, people, and the way they act, and a whole lot about love and coffee. This book was exactly what I was in the mood to read. I highly recommend.

Ages 11+ (no language AT ALL (a rarity in mainstream YA), just kissing romance and a brief mention of someone getting "felt up")

High school senior Jane spends almost no time at school (she's met all of her requirements and is taking fluff courses). That leaves plenty of time for her job as a barista at Wired Joe's, a starbucks-ripoff in Chicago. Recently promoted to assistant manager, her hobby of profiling people based on their favorite drinks - and then pairing them off - is discovered by her surly store manager. Jane becomes the "Espressologist," and her talent is the new holiday promotion.

This is frothy fun on par with the Simon Romantic comedies. Some of the mangled-to-avoid-trademark-infringement words grate ("frappycap" anyone?) and Jane's romantic magic takes some suspension of disbelief, but avid chick lit readers won't mind. Take this one to the beach.

I saw this in the book store last weekend and knew I had to buy it.

And I'm happy that I did. It was short, but it was really a cute story that I devoured in less than two hours. Who wouldn't love it if through your choice of drink, you could find your match? I know I would and Jane has a gift.

And I really enjoyed really reading the matches that were made and thought: wow, that's such an interesting idea that Kristina Springer had for her book.

If you like romance and books that are easy to read, I recommend this one. :)

Mari kita beranjak serius.

Entahlah. Yang pasti, Espressologist jadi tersohor hingga salah satu variety show, The Gabby Girlz, tertarik untuk mewawancarai dan akhirnya mendemokan langsung Espressologist. Jum’at malam itu lah, saat Espressologist muncul di The Gabby Girlz, yang akhirnya membawa kecamuk sekaligus menggiringnya pada seseorang yang ‘paling cocok’ bagi dirinya. Momen klimaks dalam novel ini.

Cukup spoiler kah? :-P

Sekian dan selamat membaca The Espressologist!
