I've read several books by Andrea Bartz and I love her style which always packs a little (or big) extra punch at the end. In less than 30 pages, she accomplishes the same here. A fun quick read!

When their dreamhouse comes on the market, an expecting couple are finally ready to embrace their future together, but something is amiss when it feels like the eyes of their neighbor are always on them. The house grows to feel oppressive and sinister. It comes to a head in a shocking way, and settles into an even creepier ending. Some spouses will stop at nothing to make their partner happy, and some secrets will be taken to the grave.

This was super quick and I was so entertained the whole time. The absolute perfect balance of creepy and twisty, with a stellar ending. Very much worth the read!

Lauren and Kelsey: married, a baby on the way, and now the new owners of the Hudson Valley house they've always admired realize that their dream house will cost them far more than the mortgage. I have been going into these short stories without knowing what they’re about and it’s been so fun not only finding out the premise of each one but thinking of ways the author is gonna try to trick me. While not the best twist I did think it was ominous and I liked the vibes.
