Something that always stikes me about these types of book is how quickly everyone falls in love and plans a life together. I'm not sure if thats due to historical accuracy or short books, BUT I do love a quick resolve.

This book was interesting because it followed several different POVs, each character getting their own section where the others were in the background. The characters stories intertwined because they were all friends (more or less) and at a party aimed at getting people engaged. It was a fun enough read but I definitey felt like the multiple POV style, while fun to read, lacked some character development in favor of keeping the sections short. I think this could have a been a whole series, but it was not.

I LOVED the first couple and their quirks, especially because the main character and share a name!! I found the book quite tame and approachable, for those who like love stories, but don't love 'Romance novels' this might be a good choice!!

To be clear, I did like this one. It was fun to read and led to an entertaining afternoon, my only real complaint is that I would have liked more!

The book in its self is good, but you kinda know right from the beginning who going to end with who. There was no mystery about anything.

Cute and fluffy and adorable, this is what you want to read on a stressful day! Added bonus, the three romances break the book up nicely so if you feel like a binge but can't quite justify an entire book, this is the way to go!

I tried....oh how I tried, to get into this book. I am usually not fond of anthologies to begin with, but I figured since I like all three authors, and i found the idea of a 'Novel written in three parts' intriguing, I thought I would give it a shot.

Unfortunately, this book is a huge mess. There are far too many characters to even attempt to keep track of, and it's also a choir trying to determine who's character is in the forefront of the a particular chapter, and who is just passing through.

The entire thing seemed ridiculously over-done; characters that are nothing more than historical romance cliche's (the ethereally beautiful girl who all the men are in love with, the boorish aristocratic, the rogue who loses his heart to an unexpected lady etc etc) witha kind of slapstick humor that i just don't enjoy. So, i found myself giving up on this a little over half way through.
