I loved all the characters in this, even when they just appeared here and there. I did not think I would be interested in a Belle/Gaston/Beast second chance story, but I honestly loved this and it was really cute. I do think the whole Ursa subplot was very shallow; either it should have been more fleshed out of removed entirely, I found it offered nothing and was distracting, but not enticing. Also, I found the pacing very fast, especially with two to five years of festering history between the characters, and the ending was wrapped up so fast it almost wasn't satisfying. But again, I did really enjoy the book as a whole and I loved the relationship.

MMF/Why choose/Humiliation kink

There's not much drama or suspense in this story, imo. Nothing to leave you on the edge of your seat. Just 95% smut. I'm ok with that for the most part.

It mostly focuses on the relationship aspect between Gaeton, Beast, and Belle.

Ursa is their main enemy/ villain. I don't understand it.
I get that Carver City has all this power struggle amongst the different territories. But up until THIS book in the series, all the characters battle within their own story theme. Ex:Jasmine Al and Jafar= Aladdin
Tink Hook and Peter=Peter Pan
HOW did they pull Ursa (the sea witch) into the Belle Gaeton Beast (Beauty and the Beast) themed storyline.
The ending was very much anticlimactic. I guess there needed to be an opening for the next book of the series The Sea Witch.

Ahhh an enemies to lovers rekindled flame and a throuple?
Things are starting to shake up in carver city the territories are starting to grow restless
Finding some happiness amongst the dark is needed
Overcoming personal fears, doubts, understanding the power in honesty and communication is key lessons throughout this series and I am all for it

My only question,, why did they change the name of Gaston to gaeton? To seem more modern? I will admit to reading it as gaston the whole way through!

The end brings us the beginning of the next boom the sea witch… let’s go!

Your answer to the classic Disney question - what if Belle, Beast, and Gaston all wanted to f*ck each other?

The inciting incident in this book was pretty bonkers (Of course, both your ex’s want to make a fun-ishment sex pact with you at the same time 🤣) But we’re here for crazy fun... and this was definitely fun.

The origin of this throple is strong. Everyone has past history with everyone else. Gaeton and Beast have an enemies to lovers vibe that plays out slowly over a few books, which makes it all the more sweet when they give into their desires, and the triangle closes.

Unfortunately, Isabelle is sadly underdeveloped. She is mostly used a bridge to more interesting chapters - Gaeton, Beast, her sisters, and the Sea Witch. It’s disappointing because she has the potential but she’s overshadowed.

This was a cute distraction, loved seeing the boys admit their feelings for each other! As always my girl Tink, my favorite cameo everywhere lol
