Loving the Wicked Villains series so far. This book has a lot of smut and it's fantastic. Features a love triangle turned throuple. Isabella, Beast, and Gaeton have great story lines. Only gave four stars because the ending felt rushed. The books before this one always had one good showdown before the book ends. Not this one. It just feels like it needs another 10 chapters to reach a proper ending.

The Beast is another entry into the Wicked Villains series that is hot hot hot, but has such a stupid plot 😂

Did I read this book for the plot? No, no I did not. But I can't get over how the city they live in makes no sense. Is there a centralized government? Is this a giant gang war? Why is the "neutral territory" in this city a kink club? How do these territory leaders make money if there don't seem to be any regular people in this city? I'm four books into this series and if I think about it too hard I get very confused. How big are these territories? There are like six of them in one city, and even NYC only has five boroughs.

Anyway, if you ignore the city these books take place in they're pretty good, and this was no exception. I like to use spicy audiobooks to help me get out of reading slumps, and this book has definitely gotten me back into a reading headspace. The consent and communication was really good, the central trio had good chemistry, and it was some mindless good fun.

Would recommend, but only to specific people. 3.5 stars.

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. Very spicy, but also a lot of internal rambling monologue. This one ties in with the Sabine Valley series and the Dark Olympus series. I didnt love this one as much as the last

I do love the push and pull in this book, especially.  The characters obviously need to work through things and the guest appearance of a certain character I love upped my enjoyment of this book.
