I’d forgotten how many twists and turns there are in this second volume! Loved being back at the Guild but also love Dannyl and his adventures! (I could TED talk about Dannyl, I swear).
So excited to crack on with my re-read of book three!

I enjoyed this less than the other 2 books as the relentless bullying of Sonea really got on my nerves after a while, very tedious!

The best book of the trilogy, this has the best character development.

kinda mid tbh. the pacing was bad, which threw off the characterisation; it was about 200 pages longer than it actually needed to be and sonea became a wet weekend of a protagonist as a result. wasn't much plot to write home about. still well-written, and not objectively dreadful, so i'll read the third, but i'm not expecting much.
