El primer libro de las Crónicas del Mago Negro se podría resumir en la trama principal de Sonea escapando y escondiéndose constantemente y la mucho más interesante historia de Rothen y Dannyl buscándola antes de que sea demasiado tarde. Aquí nuevamente nos encontramos con una Sonea que escapa y se esconde de Regin y sus secuaces. Por suerte Dannyl salva la novela nuevamente.
Sin embargo, pese a lo repetitivo y exagerado de la situación de bullying que sufre Sonea, causa bastante efecto y por momentos es interesante. Por suerte cuando Akkarin comienza a tomar cartas en todo el asunto la trama mejora.
Realmente es un libro un tanto extraño en su efecto, porque causa emociones y entretiene a pesar de la repetición de situaciones y otras muchas fallas. Me cuesta admitir que un libro con esas deficiencias haya terminado por atraparme.

Its not bad. But the entire main plot revolves around severe bullying, and it really shouldve been a sub plot in a fantasy story.

I read it in a couple of days and now looking back I can't really recall what made it particularly distinctive from the other books in the series. I liked it well enough to continue reading, but I can't say much else in its favour.
