Alternate dimensions? Kitsunes? Love triangles? Sign me up. Much more fantastical than the previous books but much more interesting too

I was abit worried as to how she was going to pull off bringing Elena back and making a complication that still fitted with the story... but I was proved wrong. Again.

In Nightfall Elena is back, but she isn't exactly human. She floats, can't talk, and she can sprout wings!
Hmmm... doesnt sound much like a vampire novel. But what for it!
The vampires are back, and elena once again finds herself in the midst of danger and in the middle of the two brothers Stefan and Damon, when a new danger stronger than damon and probably katrina come to town.

In Damons attempt to win Elenas heart a whole heap of tragic and funny events unfold.

Great book, I liked it! And was glad to see she decided to continue the series.

But I feel like bringing back the series, may have been a mistake. I found the plot of this one was all over the place!
I still enjoyed it but

Okay, I have no idea what the hell I was thinking there. At all. The book's crap (I just re-read it) and I'm seriously glad I only read it over the internet.

It was all over the place, but I enjoyed it. LOL Elena an Angel? That was some plot line.

It was nice seeing book Delena’s relationship translated perfectly on screen. There were a few moments in this book that reminded me of scenes in the show. They did a great job bringing their dynamic to screen.

Unfortunately, I found it pretty boring, as the story was being extended a lot for nothing. Read it only if you do not have any other thing to read. Such a shame. I regret buying the rest of the series. i WILL NOT BE TOUCHING THEM for sure. Such a shame for a good writer like L.J. Smith... I thought that she had better writings.
