3.5 stars. I found Charlotte super annoying for the first couple of chapters at the beginning. There wasn't enough character development for her, and what there was didn't make me like her. It got better. There is almost zero medical content.

cute book

This was a cute book. I was a little disappointed that we never found out if there was anything scandalous in his episodes tho!

Ahhhh! Nick & Char!!!

Rarely has a villain been made to shine! I mean, he turned out to be a really good guy! The mastery of showcasing another POV on the situation just blew my mind. I was left with philosophical musings at the end of how there really are 3 sides to every story.
Well done!!
Also, another home run for Max Monroe! You guys rock!! Please don’t stop now!!

2 1/2 OK to good
Mainly the problem with this was it didn't catch my attention enough even though I liked the characters, I was just a little bored. Charlotte seemed fun but a little crazy and doctor oblivious to likes. Then should I shouldn't I moments that just dragged, and a stupid angsty on both parts Nick and Charlotte, that just irritated me and dragged again. The end was good but too late for me to call it actually good as it took perseverance to get to the end. I almost quit. Actually, I put it down and read a historical romance in the middle, right at 50%. I think I lot of my boredom is that I just never have loved contemporary romance unless it has something to catch my attention in both characters and humor, definitely humor. This got a little humor, two laughs at the end and I liked the characters a lot more towards the very end. Argh, but the drag to get there, not worth it. If you love contemporary romance, you might love this. Glad I got to the end, in the end, and not because it was over but it was the only good part of the book.

35% in and I am pretty bored. The characters are OK but I'm not getting the humor of the first book and this is pretty standard Contemp Rom... Head hunter meets neuro surgeon and she takes him out to have "fun" a couple of times.

60%- The house was pretty funny and actually got a laugh out of me
65%- Argh, angst city.
Spoiler She really freaks and doesn't say anything about Remy, the brother and her relationship. Tell the fucking truth and reason you stupid fuck.
I just cannot stand stupid crap.

ARC received for an honest review
Doctor Doctor, give me the news I've got a bad case of lovin' you!

Time for us to meet the head of Neurological surgery, Dr Nick Raines.

Now, if you have read the Billionaire Bad Boys series, you will remember Nick - he is Winnie's daughter's baby daddy who skipped out on her for a job.

I didn't know how Max Monroe were going to redeem him after the way I felt about him, but redeem him they did.

In fact, I liked him a lot more than I thought I would! I liked that he dropped everything to be a father to Lexi.

Enter Charlotte - I freaking adore her. She knows what she wants, and she goes after it - and she want Nick. And plus, I think we would be great partners at trivia nights, since I have a head full of useless knowledge and like giving teams weird names.

I loved how they are together. She pulls him right out of his comfort zone right from the start, and he adores her for it. But will it be enough?

The road to true happiness is never a smooth one, and there are a few speed bumps on the way there for Nick and Charlotte, however I loved every word of their story.

And I can't forget the little scene stealer, Nick and Winnie's girl Lexi. There is nothing that I don't adore about this girl!

Dr Neuro is a cute, sweet and funny story, with a few heartaches thrown in for good measure.

Can't wait to see what this dynamic duo brings us next.

Hot damn. I loved this book. I’ve enjoyed all of the St Lukes Docuseries novels so far, but I think I have to say that this was my fave. Something about Nick and Charlotte had me falling for the story instantly.

I absolutely devoured this book and I’m not even sure if I can pick one reason why. Everything about it just made me fly through it and have to know what would happen.

I particularly loved Charlottes outgoing side, and really liked Winnie and Lexi too. I haven’t actually ready the whole ‘Billionaire’ series, so I haven’t read Winnie’s book yet, but I sure am keen to after reading this one.

There were challenges in the storyline of the book, but mostly I felt like they were dealt with in a really good manner. Also, let me just say, Doreen and Harry 🙂

Definitely recommend this one, love love loved it.

There's so much to love:
- Charlotte's unfilteredness
- The cuteness of Nick and Char when they're together
- Both Nick and Char's ability to rectify their wrongs even if it took them a while
- Lexi's smarts and how it brings Nick and Char together

I think this one was much better than Dr. ER. There were some key differences that made this book into an entirely different thing. I liked the fact there were differences, but some things still tied in from Dr. OB, and Dr. ER. You should read these one right after the other because if you don't, you might forget these previous things.

These characters might be my favorite. The chemistry between Nick and Charlotte really takes off in this book. The chemistry in Dr. OB was great, but I think this couple takes the cake.

I liked a lot about this book, but I feel like Max Monroe had the same problem in all three. The interest was lost after halfway through. Each book was great, then hit a wall.

I think if you are a steamy romance lover, these books would be fantastic. I am a lover of steamy romances, and I would recommend this series!

for me this was the best book in this series, i liked nick and charlotte and they had a cute relationship. i think its safe to say that these fluffy romances are definitely not for me though, i need some more serious problems in my romance books to keep me interested.
