I absolutely LOVED this book BUT I truly thought that you were supposed to know the "twist" it was so incredibly obvious from very early on I seriously thought it was just a give in. So I read the book with a different understanding, one that apparently many people would only get by rereading. Either way the book was incredible if you guess the "twist" early on or not.

I was conflicted about this one. 3-4 stars, but ended up settling for 3.

The storyline was good, the writing as well and the twist was something you've never seen before. Hot sex scenes and romantic moments was also included, which for me is a must in a good book. So yeah, basically the idea of this book is great and deserves 5 stars.

Of course I figured out the twist, "the secret", too quick and was alas not surprised at all when the big reveal came. And sadly I didn't feel any connection to the characters and there was too many plot holes for my liking. A lot of stuff that didn't fit and things that bothered me CRAZY. I was seriously twisting my hair and laughing like a wicked witch, that's how frustrated I was.

Read this if you're in the mood for something different, and read with an open mind. You'll probably love it

Alessandra Torre's done it again, after finishing this I'm absolutely speechless again.

I don't think I can put into words how fantastically written and mind blowing this book really is, but I'm still gonna try...

“Love isn't about being happy. Be single and be happy. Love is about putting him, his sanity, his happiness, first. If you aren't willing to do that then you aren't really in love.”

Here goes.. This book was absolutely nothing like I expected it to be. I fell in love with both men, except this time I felt really bad for Layana, I didn't actually judge her, I just felt for her in wanting both sides of her life. I never expected her relationship with Brant to be better when she'd found Lee but that wasn't anything in comparison to what happened to any other expectations I had. They were blown to a million pieces, crushed by a meteor and then dunked in molten lava.

Some of Lanyana's actions made me question her love for Brant
Spoiler I couldn't for the life of me understand how she could be so cruel to Brant, even though he didn't know, and take Lee to their new home and christen every room with him and not Brant. that was a cruel twist, I felt so bad for both Brant and Lee.

I was expecting Brandt's secret to be something that would make me hate him, I should really learn not to presume and have expectations with Alessandra's books..

Basically, you just need to read this book, but if you start it when you only have a couple of hours spare, you won't be want to put it down when you get going.. I didn't plan to but I couldn't help but read this in one sitting.

“When you really love someone, you cannot walk away. No matter what they do. No matter the lies from their mouth, or the actions from their bodies, you tie yourself tightly to their sail and vow to be there through thick and thin. Let the wind blow you where it may. Even if that place is a crash. Even if that place tears you apart and kills anything good.”

This was an unusual read... Started a little slower and then grabbed me and didn't let go until it pulled a HUGE WOW! Surprise twist? Yes!!!

Phenomenal

This book is a wild ride. It's a romance mixed with mystery and intrigue ... and the twist. Oh! Wow! That twist. This is worth your time.

*I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*

I absolutely loved this! There were places where I was soo confused as to whether I was supposed to understand what was going on. I thought I had it figured out at first, but then too many things seemed to happen that contradicted my train of thought. Turns out I got it right, but I didn't discover this until quite near the end. This just made the story appeal to me all the more because of the twists and turns it was confusing but still intriguing at the same time. Very easy to read and I got addicted to this very quickly. I will definitely be checking out more Alessandra Torre books going forward!

Hard to finish and story was totally dragging still at 60% complete. I figured I'd made it this far I might as well finish since I read the reviews and there was supposed to be a big secret revealed and twist in the story. Lana and Brant the main characters had a very boring love story, then comes Lee- Lana's man on the side. Lee was not very appealing to me even though he is supposed to be hot he still bugged me. No interesting turns until last 20% of book. I did like the last 10% of the book but up until then I really struggled to get through it.

Lord help me! This book was a roller coaster of heavenly lust-filled, Emotions with a sinful side of sexy mental combustion!! I love, love, loved this book.
I wanted to hate her, stop reading and toss the book out and scream at her risky behavior!
All the signs were there! I went through a series of scenarios in my head, but I was totally surprised, excited and moved!

This is an intense read. Deep. Harsh. Raw. I was so enthralled with this book, I didn't stop reading it until the very last page turned and now I'm sitting here thinking about the journey Ms. Torre took me on. I knew before most what was going to happen because I know someone with this disorder and so this story hit close to home. Ms. Torre did a wonderful job of showing this disorder and just how it really affects one's life. 4.5 out of 5 stars.
