So this wasn't as bad as I was expecting, but it also wasn't as terrible as I'd feared??

This odd book, although written well, left me with an unusual impression. While the plot is not that weird, the raw description of the werewolf, rather than the romanticized version left me feeling odd... but the book was alright despite the aftertaste it left.

My best friend recommended me this book and she knows me well. I really enjoyed this book.

I really enjoyed everything about this story and how the ending wasn't the 'all happy ending' I thought it would be. I don't want to spoil anything but i thought Vivian was going to have her original happy ending. Vivian is by far my favorite, she may appear slightly sexual but that's what I would image a young werewolf would act like, very comfortable in her skin and not conforming to the norm.

Even though I liked this ending more then most werewolf stories, especially when they involve human/werewolf relationships, I really wished they didn't end it so fast. This story could have definitely continued and I'm sad that it doesn't.

This book was recommended to my by my librarian when I was in high school. I read it and fell in love, the story was compelling and I felt as though it was not overly romantic. Definitely one I would want to own.

"Blood and Chocolate" was a wild ride, y'all! Narrator Alyssa Bresnahan's velvety voice sucked me into Vivian's world, where I felt her pain, her longing, and her fierce determination to find her place. The romance was intense, the secrets were dark, and the ending left me reeling. If you're craving a YA story that's a little bit dangerous, a little bit romantic, and a whole lot unforgettable, this audiobook is for you. Trust me, you won't be able to hit pause.
