"One day, some girl is gonna walk into your life and flip your whole world upside down and you're not gonna know what the fuck to do with yourself except drop to your knees and beg her to never leave."

What a beautiful story of love, trust, and forgiveness between Carter and Olivia. I absolutely loved the story between these two. I also loved all the other characters in this book. Hank, sarcastic, just like Carter, Hank. Ugh, Hank was the absolute best. Carter's teammates and Ollie's best friend, Cara, were amazing as well.

This was my firsg Becka Mack read and what an amazing read it was. I highly recommend it. ❤️

I loved this book! Everyone needs a Carter Beckett in their life. I love how he was unapologetic about how he felt about Ollie

I loved the characters, Carter IS the blueprint. The way he can communicate his feelings towards Oliva is absolutely amazing and he had me gushing every time he spoke. But the ending sucked, the last hundred pages really brought down the book for me, otherwise i would’ve given this book five stars.

it first starting going down hill when Courtney and her friend found his phone and blackmailed him with their pictures, something that I called when he first took the pictures.

Then it got worse when Carter didn’t tell Oliva what happened that night when he went into the room with courtney. He’d been so good at communicating up until this point, so it was extremely out of his character to do so.

But then the book was completely ruined for me when he proposed at Caras wedding. Idc if the couple allows for a proposal at their wedding, but it’s common sense not to. Personally, i would outright refuse a proposal if it happened at someone else’s wedding, but especially if it was at my best friends wedding. That’s her day, and all the attention should be on her. I skimmed the rest of the book after the proposal, i was just over the book.

5/5 without the last hundred pages. 3.5/5 with the last hundred pages.
