It’s never a dull moment at Circle B Ranch!!! Elizabeth and Connor my goodness the tension and chemistry between these two had been going on for years. He avoided her and she thought he didn’t like her. Boy how wrong. It was a slow burn but it was good reading how they actually came to be and all the obstacles they went thru and when they finally got their act together more Connor than Elizabeth there was no turning back. She knew what she wanted and she was happy and about damn time that Connor was on board. Literally everyone was waiting for it to happen. Connor realized how important Elizabeth was to him and how amazing she was in moments that he needed her most. Loved everything, loved the banters between her and her brother and her relationship with her cousins. The group texts were hilarious!!

Bossing the Cowboy is a novel I couldn't wait to get my hands on. It reached all my best hopes and more. This single dad, workplace romance was such a great slow burn and a lovely addition to the Circle B Ranch Series. I seriously can never get enough of the Bishop family!

Elizabeth Bishop had me so intrigued about her rocky relationship with her boss, Dr. Connor Wallen, for a few books now and I was so glad to finally see their romance unfold. Their book spans over a few years and shows how much the aloof man fights his attraction for his younger employee. Their chemistry is so intense, but he's always pushing her away with his short answers and cold behavior. Under all his hard exterior though, that man is truly amazing. Elle is really driven and focused on becoming a veterinarian. Even if her boss enrages her at times by his actions, he's the best option to learn her future profession. The flowing sparks between them keeps getting even more palpable though the years and hiding them more difficult.

When they ultimately embrace their mutual feelings, it's exquisite to witness this couple! They're the perfect match and their shared moments are filling with sweetness and sexiness. Those two are explosive! Connor demonstrates how he's a great father and partner. He's devoted, charming and simply irresistible! The way Elle connects so easily with Connor's daughter, Olivia, is adorable and touched me immensely.

Overall, this novel checked all the boxes for an entertaining and heartfelt romance! I laughed at all the teasing between the Bishops, smiled at the cuteness of little Olivia and blushed over the intensity of this spectacular couple. This book made me live an amalgam of emotions! As it's the norm with this series, I have a lot to look forward to with the next novel, Winning the Cowboy! Ethan and Harper's story promises a lot of fun!

HOT DAYUM!! I'm going to get myself a sick cow and move to Eldorado so I can call Dr. VetDreamy!!!! How these 2 ladies come up with these amazing stories is beyond me. The sexual tension in this book is so freaking thick, I felt it all the way through my kindle. I LOVE how all the cousins come together and support each other. This family is so wonderful!! Each book just keeps getting better than the last.

This is my new favourite in the series, I absolutely loved Elle and Connor; and after anticipating their story from the previous ones in the series, I'm more than happy to say it did not disappoint!

Although it wasn't a perfect 5, I couldn't get enough of these two characters and baby girl Olivia. Connor and Elle's chemistry was enthralling to read, and they were completely swoony and steamy once they got together. As always I loved getting snippets of the Bishop family and what they're up to, I only wish we got more of Evan and Emily. Nevertheless, this still gave me a comforting and homely feeling.

My only complaint would be that it felt like we skipped quite a bit of their story since we've been told so much about them in previous books. This felt a lot shorter than the other books and I don't know if that's just because I devoured it, or because we time jump quite a bit. Either way I would have liked to have more of Elle and Connor, because it almost felt like we went from Connor ignoring Elle, straight to them being together than happily ever after.

Overall, I'm always a sucker for every trope in this book—single dad, broody hero, small town, big family, and I would highly recommend it.

Took one star off because the flashbacks took to long, they got together out of the blue, when they had their biological daughter she said his biological daughter is old enough to help them out and babysit with them.

I freaking loved this book! I am a huge sucker for boss + employee or professor + student tropes. Connor and Elizabeth’s story was soo intriguing it was very hard to put the book down when I had to. When Connor gave Elle his student flashcards? My heart melted…
And Olivia is an angel! Cannot wait to see more of them in the following books!

P.S. If anyone has any Professor + Student trope recommendations please do tell me because I cannot seem to find many.

Thank You!

Found this on my kindle last night and couldn’t wait to dive in for another Bishop cousin’s romance.

This story covers several years, and jumps ahead a few months at a time as Elizabeth (Elle) starts out working for Dr. Connor Wallen as an intern in his vet clinic while attending vet school.

Elle is attracted to Dr. Wallen, but not only is he her boss he is also a cold jerk to her most days. What she doesn’t know is he is wildly attracted to her and determined not to get involved with her in what he feels is an prohibited relationship. He is also initially dealing with a bitter divorce and custody battle for his young daughter and unwilling to risk letting his heart be at risk for any further heartache.

There are several chapters that alternate POV between Elle and Connor during a time period, before the story jumps a few months to a year ahead in time for another few chapters. This may seem like an unusual storyline technique, but it really works for this story because we really get to see each of these two characters grow and develop and react to their continued professional interactions.

When their romance ignites the story gets even better as their pent up passion is unleashed and their hidden feelings/emotions are intense. I enjoyed the appearance of so many of the Bishop family members throughout Elle and Connor’s story. Several family events, holidays and get togethers take place to allow us to see what’s happening with several of the Bishop cousins and their partners.

I received an ARC from the authors and am voluntarily leaving a review. I am eager for the next Circle B story which will be about Ethan and Harper.

I love every trip back to the Circle B!!! The Bishop clan is definitely family goals.

Elle & Conner are great. He thinks he’s too old & has too much baggage. She’s trying to get through vet school and thinks he’s a great mentor, albeit a jerky one.
