So sweet! Love the premise, and it allows for some fun voices. Although it probably wouldn't be good for storytime, since there are some plot points that rely very heavily on side conversations in speech bubbles (a pet peeve of mine--it makes it harder when reading aloud).

I appreciated the message of being inclusive, and framing a problem in a new way in order to find the solution. Dinosaurs doing ballet at the end was just adorable.

I like how this book appeals to both the boys and girls in storytime. The text is a mix of straight text dialogue and bubble speech but they can be smoothly read together, which is great because other books with bubble speech aren't easy to read aloud. In the middle of the book I have all the kids stand up and try the ballet positions, plie, releve, etc., even the boys will do it because we're just copying the dinosaur in the book!

This is a heartwarming tale of a dinosaur who wants to be a ballerina and she overcomes the prejudice of those in the dance community who think she is too big to dance. Beautifully illustrated, you will find yourself tearing up with joy as you read the last page. A truly inspirational tale for all ages.

What an adorable picture book! I was searching the stacks the other day for a book missing a pop-out dinosaur, and stumbled upon this.

A brontosaurus wishes to dance, but finds she is far too large for Madame Lucille's dance studio, and certainly too large for human ballet shoes! But where there's a will, there's a way, and Brontorina's hard work is not overlooked. This book is a wonderful introduction to the concept of creating accommodations for diversity, with a "silly" story line that will certainly have your kids laughing!

A lovely and sweet story about a dinosaur who just wants to dance. Pictures are sweet and my daughter just loves dancing. A nice message, too.

What's more inclusive than being prehistoric inclusive. As a student, I think I would be scared to dance next to a Dinosaur and these kids weren't. Brontorina wants to be a ballerina and she finds a dancing teacher and school to learn in. Never let size keep you from doing something.

Nice art, cute story. Both kids loved this one. Read it twice they said. So we did.
