How do I put into words the love I feel for this book? I can't even begin to tell you all of the ways in which I love Clay and Julia and how sad I am that their story is finished. Is it possible to get you to understand how much I Flove Lauren Blakely? This is where I brag that I got to beta read on this one, right? Because I totally did and I'm so grateful to Lauren for trusting me with that honor. Of course there wasn't much for me to do because the book was basically perfection right from the get go.
Clay continued to melt my panties with his alpha-ness but this time around you really get to see him wear his heart on his sleeve. His protective and loving side really shined here. He is so kick ass when defending Julia's honor and well-being.
Much like in the the first book and the prequel, Julia impressed me with her maturity and confidence. Julia is the epitome of a sexually assured, strong woman and I wish that I could read more women just like her in other romances.
I love that Julia and Clay handled their problems in such a mature and thoughtful manner. There is no tantrums, fits or over-reacting with these two. It's why they work so well together. I wish that we could read about them forever and ever. Like I've said before, I'm sure we will get glimpses of them in future Blakely works so I can take comfort in that.
This book was a perfect blend of romance, angst, sex and suspense, sending my emotions into overdrive. I highly recommend this to everyone that loves a well-written romance with a healthy dose of hot, hot lovin'.

From what I understand, After This Night is he 3rd book in a series. The much-anticipated conclusion to Clay and Julia’s story. I have not read the first two books in this series, however that did not dampen my enjoyment in reading After This Night in the least. It reads perfect as a stand-alone novel. If you had no prior information, you would just assume that this particular book is about two perfect for each other people who made the mistake of splitting up instead of working out their issues.
Based on that, I must say that I absolutely loved it. The characters were engaging and entertaining. Clay the epitome of every woman’s dream man is strong, sweet and sensitive. He cares for Julia and is not afraid of showing it. Julia’s insistence on taking care of her problems herself and not relaying on Clay to solve them for her is a refreshing change after so many books where a formerly strong heroine meets the love of her life and suddenly becomes unable to make the slightest decision on her own. This alone makes this book a definite keeper.
Would I read this book again? Most definitely! As a matter of fact, I look forward to downloading the first two books in the series so I can read how Clay and Julia first met and I would recommend others do as well. Ms. Blakely is a new to me author that I will definitely be keeping an eye on in the future.

I start every one of Lauren's reviews the same way. I love Lauren and I have read all of her books. They are all amazing 5 star reads and this one is no different. Except this is more Lauren Blakely on erotica crack! After this Night, the third installment of the Seductive Nights Series is so full of emotion and angst. It's sexy and hot as hell. Clay and Julia have been apart since that day when he left her in San Francisco. They have both been miserable alone. Clay wants to trust her and Julia wants to handle things all by herself. Someone has to make the first move. When they finally see each other again, it's off the charts hot! I love Clay. I want Clay. I want to be Julia. Julia is such an independent, sexy woman who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it. They have to learn to trust each other so they can love each other. They don't always handle things the correct way, but their intentions are genuine. Will it all work out? Can they put aside their egos and go all in? And, as always, Lauren brings other character from her books in this one! My book husband, Chris from Trophy Husband and McKenna, Julia's sister make an appearance. As well as Davis and Jill. And I love the Jane Black name drop, and the No Regrets tattoo parlor. Lauren just keeps getting better and better. Do not miss this one!
His whole body was humming, vibrating at a frequency only she could sense. His skin sizzled, and blood rushed hot through his veins. Nearness to her was an aphrodisiac.
Chris - "To also see so many friends and family here makes the occasion all the better, even though I'd have married her anywhere - in a box, on a boat, in the rain, on a train." "What? It's true, " he said to McKenna.
"You are, and I love it because I feel everything. I feel everything for you." she said.
"Ooh, you're going to make me an offer," she said, tap dancing her fingertips along his arm. "I. Can't.Wait."
He rolled his eyes. "You are red-hot trouble."
"Your sexy mouth is one of my favorite playgrounds," he said.

What a conclusion!
I think I found a new favorite Lauren Blakely book swear to god this was HOT.
The back and forth the not knowing the trust and respect it really get you in the feels.
At times I was rooting for Julia then times I was rooting for Clay then for them together, swoon.
My heart went through a bit there but it was worth it for that ending!
If you’re a Lauren Blakely fan you NEED to read this series its everything her other books have and more steam. I love it I want MORE, MORE, MORE, please!
The narration like I said before perfect for this book 100% couldn’t ask for more!

I could not have asked for a better ending to Clay and Julia's story. I love them!
I think Clay and Julia are fantastic, well thought out characters, and I was immediately pulled back into their world. Their connection and chemistry was so much deeper on an emotional level, it made their passion and commitment for one another even more off the charts! It made for an incredible build throughout the story.
Just like Night After Night, there was major hotness with their dirty mouths and sexcapades but since their feelings for one another are so much deeper, it really made the sexy times seem more intense. It was the kind of hot where I had to set my Kindle down and walk away for a bit! Lauren Blakely knows how to write some seriously steamy scenes.
I really like Julia’s feistiness and spunk but when she opens up to Clay and is more vulnerable, I thought it was a wonderful moment and loved her even more. I fell in love with Clay a little bit more in this as well. How much he cares for Julia and wanted to help her, he is so protective, sincere and adoring.
There is still an element of stress and anxiety thanks to the bad things that Julia has to deal with and I was totally into the drama. I loved her determination on how she wanted to handle everything and how she wanted to do it on her own.
There were lots of other characters integrated into this story and it is a fun added element I always enjoy. I was thrilled that we got more Cam (I think he needs his own story!) and I'm thankful that the situation with Michele had closure. I really like her but certain things stressed me out. I'm glad she gets her own story in Nights With Him (Seductive Nights #3). She needs a happy ending.
I'm a sucker for good email banter and Clay and Julia have the most fantastic flirty banter ever and I pretty much grinned every time it happened. Excellent ending and epilogue too!
After This Night was a fast paced, super sexy, and excellent read. I love how everything unfolded and all my questions were answered. I was happily lost in their world of sex, love, and heat! My heart is full because they are so perfect for each other and I am thrilled with the conclusion.

In After This Night we are to the point where Clay must decide if he can trust Julia and live with her secrets and Julia must decide if she is willing to open up and tell them to Clay. Somehow these two have got to give and take to get to where they need to be.
This book is just as hot as the first two, maybe even more because they are coming to realize what their true feelings are for each other.
The question is can they get past those secrets.
There is one scene where I wanted to smack Julia upside the head. She is mad and I was like are you stupid? Say thank you and get over it. I guess I can see her point because of what she has been through but seriously, are you really going to throw away this amazing love you have over a guy being a guy and wanting to fix things?
Question for us women to ponder. Why do we get upset over things that happened before us? That was another spot where I stopped and wanted to tell Julia to grow up, it was before you, move on. That scene though led to an amazing moment so all is forgiven Julia. I am not upset about that scene, it just made me stop and think, why do we do that? It’s reality, it is how a lot of us react when it comes to this certain situation that is in the book. You will see what I mean and you will be nodding your head remembering this question. Why do we care so much about something that happened before we were in the picture. I think it stuck out to me because here Julia is this confident independent woman and that was a very insecure moment. That is what it all boils down to right? Our own insecurities and our place in their world?
All in all, excellent series from start to beginning. I really enjoyed our couple, the sex scenes were out of this world hot, and it was a great world to escape to for a moment in time.
Thank you so much for my copy of After This Night that was gifted to me to facilitate this review.
