I mostly liked this book. It just did some things that i hate in these types of books. Harlow is young and she kind of lets the guys walk all over her. They say things like you don't need to know or get mad at her for breaking rules that were never explained to her. Also she goes out to a club with her friend and has a couple drinks but isn't drunk, gets her intoxicated friend safely home and then let's the guys tell her she's basically too stupid to be allowed out drinking with out them. They tell her she is a girl and it is too dangerous for her to go out without a man there to protect her. It made me want to punch them all. other then that i liked the mission part of the story. Hopefully in the next book they will pretend like women can take care of themselves.

Wonderful

I love this book! This one was just as good as the first one if not better! I cannot wait until the third one comes out!

Second book in the Iris Boys series. Like the first book, Lucy Smoke's writing makes us want to keep reading and figure out what the hell is going on. The mysteries from book one, pass along to book two, where we get some of the answers, but to know more we need to read more.

This book starts right off when the first book left us. It still wraps us in mystery about the Iris society and the new mystery that Harlow and her boys needs to follow.

This time, Harlow finds out that some teenager girl is blackmailed with nude photos after attending an etiquette camp. Of course, she disguises herself as a debutant and join the camp to find the culprit. Her boys, not happy about the possible danger she faces, follow her and have her back.

But, in this book finally Harlow develops deeper relationships with her guys!!!! Yeas, it was about time. I'm really curious to see how it ends. Will they share her or will she choose one? Well, if she has to choose one, I vote for Bellamy.

2.5 stars I found this hard to get my head around. I was really looking forward to delving into the world of Iris again and seeing where the next case was taking them. The story fell flat when the characterisation didn’t seem to develop any further than it had in the first book. The guys are still treating Harlow as though she is a kid, even though they want to ‘do’ more with her in other ways. She still knows little to nothing about Iris - which means as a reader we know little to nothing. Her ‘training’ doesn’t seem to be getting her anywhere. Harlow’s character is insufferably immature in one respect and then seemingly ‘genius’ in others. Add the side characters and there are just too many loose ends and no direction. I felt that maybe the author lost a bit of balance in the information dumping area. Less about how fragile Harlow is (tired, not focused, checking out butt) and more about what the hell is going on. It’s ok to miss something out if it is covered or explained or makes sense later on but alas, it didn’t happen enough for me.

So went straight from book one to book two. Let me just say oh my gosh I did not see THAT plot twist coming. I wouldn’t not have guess that x was starting the fires. I’m going to be over here recovering from such a great book and impatiently waiting for the next one to come out. Lucy, thanks for writing such a great book!!
