Wow, this book! As a mother, this was an incredibly emotional read. The thought of losing your friend's child left a weight in my stomach and made me that much more determined to devour it as quickly as I could. An incredibly traumatic yet beautiful story about a mother's love, unthinkable loss and the secrets surrounding us.

I was lucky enough to win a finished copy thanks to Goodreads and Gallery Books and I'm so incredibly glad I did! A new author to me and she has surely gained a new fan - will definitely be back for more!

Very thought provoking and it allowed me to think what would I do if I was in such a position. Definitely a good read. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

Good story. Parts of it were infuriating (re: character) but overall a good book.

I knew I was getting into a book about a little girl going missing, which is suspenseful enough as it is. I didn't realize as I was reading along that I was slowly being dropped into an even bigger story where fears are exposed, secrets are revealed, and truths are buried.

The two main characters, Charlotte and Harriet, have great depth - they are both flawed and love hard in their own ways. Their thoughts and emotions feel real and are easy to connect with. There were times when I had to concentrate when the timeline jumped back and forth, but I did really enjoy getting to witness the points of view of both women.

I won't go into much more detail because you really need to go into this book spoiler free. This is a great page turner I'd recommend to those who enjoy psychological thrillers.

Her One Mistake is a psychological thriller that starts out as a missing child scenario, but as alternating narrators reveal so much more to the story, we see that the characters in this story are deceptive, full of drama and are not who they seem to be. I’m usually pretty good at figuring out  that “who done it” part but not in this book. A great read.

This was a great escape book. It’s more of a 3.5 star but it was entertaining and a quick read.
